Requirements
- Must currently reside in India and understand Indian culture, current trends, and popular interests.
- Must be proficient in both Tamil and English to understand queries and evaluate content in its linguistic and cultural context.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must have strong online research skills and familiarity with search engines, websites, and common digital platforms.
- Must have critical-thinking and analytical skills to assess relevance, interpret information, and make consistent judgments.
- Must have attention to detail and be able to follow detailed instructions while maintaining quality and accuracy.
- Must be self-disciplined, manage time effectively, and work independently in a home-based environment.
- Must be available for a minimum of 5 and maximum of 20 hours per week.
- Must have access to a personal computer, smartphone, reliable internet connection, and antivirus software installed on the computer.
- Must complete mandatory training modules and pass the qualification test before starting assignments.
- Must sign and comply with the project NDA and applicable confidentiality requirements.
- Only one Search Quality Rater is permitted per household.
- No previous professional experience is required.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate search engine results for relevance, accuracy, usefulness, and alignment with user search intent.
- Conduct online research to assess search-result quality and identify information that answers everyday queries.
- Review and evaluate text, images, audio, and video according to project guidelines.
- Apply knowledge of Tamil, Indian culture, local trends, and popular culture to assess content in context.
- Analyze contextual relevance, information quality, and likely user needs.
- Provide structured feedback and ratings to help improve AI training data and search engine performance.
- Follow project instructions, evaluation criteria, and quality standards, meeting accuracy and performance deadlines.
- Manage assignments independently and complete them within agreed timeframes.
- Complete required training and pass the project qualification assessment before beginning evaluation work.
- Protect confidential project information by signing and complying with the NDA.
