Requirements
- Have 3+ years of backend development experience.
- Be fluent in Python or Node.js (TypeScript).
- Have a strong computer science foundation.
- Understand API/web communication protocols, including OpenAPI and gRPC.
- Understand concurrency concepts in APIs and web applications.
- Understand cloud services and the cloud landscape.
- Understand traditional and serverless architectures.
- Be capable of working container-first.
- Have excellent English for meetings, customer calls, and business communications.
- Provide a CV written in English.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement backend components across APIs, serverless functions, distributed services, queue systems, and data storage services.
- Contribute to system- and application-level architectural decisions, considering performance requirements and external constraints.
- Implement security and data-protection best practices across systems.
- Maintain effective test suites and write clean code and documentation.
- Work with technical leads and clients to gather requirements, align expectations, and provide deliverable updates.
- Collaborate with Machine Learning, Data Engineering, and other teams to integrate backend solutions.
- Take responsibility for assigned tasks and projects and their outcomes.
- Stay current with industry trends, techniques, and tools.
