- Have 2+ years of commercial Python development experience.
- Use Python iterators, generators, and streams.
- Have knowledge of parallelism, multithreading, and non-blocking calls.
- Work with high-precision numbers using decimals or fractions.
- Know regular expressions and JSON and XML data structures.
- Understand the features and differences between REST and SOAP.
- Have experience with databases, especially the ACID approach.
- Adhere to SOLID principles and strive for clean code.
- Experience with message brokers and queues is an added advantage.
- Experience writing unit and integration tests is an added advantage.
