Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or have equivalent work experience.
- Have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in IT.
- Have 8+ years of Python experience related to data processing.
- Have proficiency with Pandas, NumPy, PySpark, PyOdbc, PyMsSQL, Requests, Boto3, Simple Salesforce, and Json.
- Have 4+ years of SQL experience, including performance, stored procedures, triggers, and schema design.
- Know at least one RDBMS such as MSSQL or MySQL.
- Have 2+ years of AWS experience with AWS Data Exchange, Athena, Cloud Formation, Lambda, S3, AWS Console, IAM, STS, EC2, and EMR.
- Have 2+ years of experience with data warehouse technologies such as Snowflake, Spark, Databricks, or Informatica.
- Have 2+ years of experience with ETL tools such as Apache Airflow, AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory, Talend, or Alteryx.
- Have 1+ year of experience with Hadoop and Hive.
- Know DevOps/Git for agile planning and code repositories.
- Have excellent verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and launch efficient, reliable data pipelines using Python frameworks.
- Move data through pipelines and provide intuitive analytics to partner teams.
- Implement data pipelines, data curation, data modeling, and data solutions.
- Collaborate with engineers and Data Scientists on solutions.
- Diagnose and resolve issues in existing data pipelines.
- Envision and build successors to existing data pipelines.
