Requirements
- Have 7+ years of PHP experience.
- Have 4+ years of MySQL experience.
- Have 3+ years of experience with object-oriented programming concepts.
- Have expert-level knowledge of JSON.
- Have experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or similar.
- Have experience implementing and using RESTful APIs in a microservice architecture.
- Have experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms.
- Have a usable understanding of front-end technologies.
- Have experience developing in a distributed environment.
- Have intermediate-level Linux-based systems administration skills.
- Be proficient with Git, including branching and merging.
- Have experience integrating multiple data sources and databases into one system.
- Have experience with payment gateway integration.
Responsibilities
- Develop, debug, and maintain website applications using the organization's methodologies and process flows.
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable, efficient, and maintainable system architecture.
- Design microservices, API integrations, and data flows.
- Architect cloud-based services, configure load balancing, optimize server costs, and support application deployment and scaling.
- Design for high availability, fault tolerance, redundancy, and recovery from failures.
- Analyze performance, tune database queries, refactor code, and implement caching solutions.
- Contribute to database structure, data storage, schema design, indexing, and data management across relational and NoSQL systems.
- Embed security considerations in system design, including encryption, API security, and handling sensitive data.
- Collaborate with developers, project managers, and business teams to refine requirements, priorities, and technical goals.
- Mentor junior developers on best practices, code quality, and design patterns.
