Requirements
- Bring 10+ years of experience in general technology infrastructure management.
- Have 5+ years of experience with Azure.
- Demonstrate advanced proficiency with Azure infrastructure, including compute, storage, and networking.
- Have experience with SQL Server, Azure SQL DB, and Azure Data Factory.
- Hold Microsoft certification in one or more of these areas: Azure Administrator, Microsoft 365 Fundamentals, or Teams Administrator Associate.
- Bring hands-on experience with cloud computing technologies across Windows.
- Be proficient in PowerShell.
- Have strong network, computing, and system management skills.
- Have experience planning and assisting with the establishment and movement of systems and technologies from on-premises to Azure and the public cloud.
- Have a bachelor's degree or higher.
- Be fully fluent in English.
- Be proficient with Microsoft Office products.
Responsibilities
- Engineer complex Azure cloud infrastructures for internal environments.
- Manage, maintain, monitor, and support the Azure environment, resolving critical and complex technical issues.
- Develop, document, and present training for the Infrastructure Engineering team.
- Collaborate with Infrastructure Engineering to support and deliver solutions and new capabilities to business stakeholders.
- Participate in recruiting, mentoring, and ramping up new Cloud Engineers.
- Act as a technical escalation point, participate in case triage, and share best practices and knowledge-base documentation.
- Work with leadership on process improvement, operational efficiency, and strategic initiatives.
- Coordinate system upgrades, deployments, and maintenance across teams to minimize operational impact.
- Participate in short- and long-term planning with management and recommend actions based on industry trends.
- Monitor production, outputs, and services to ensure SLAs and other metrics are met.
