Requirements
- Recommended: 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Commercial Insurance.
- Recommended: Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Strong understanding of insurance domains and commercial lines, including Auto, Property, Liability, and Workers Compensation.
- Experience engaging with technical and business stakeholders in Agile and/or Waterfall environments.
- Proficiency with requirements-gathering and documentation tools.
- Ability to translate complex insurance requirements for technical teams and non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
- Experience supporting testing activities and validating business scenarios.
- Familiarity with cloud-native SaaS software development is preferred.
- Insurance-related certification such as AINS or CPCU is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with teams and stakeholders to collect and clarify business and functional requirements.
- Support testing strategy and validate requirements to drive automation and quality improvement.
- Analyze current processes and systems to identify improvement opportunities aligned with project goals.
- Document business requirements, presentation mockups, and acceptance criteria.
- Facilitate requirement workshops and stakeholder communication to support alignment and timely decisions.
- Support user acceptance testing and coordinate defect resolution with cross-functional teams.
- Perform and support testing efforts, project status reporting, and requirement traceability documentation.
- Communicate project risks, concerns, and quality metrics to leadership and team members.
- Participate in straightforward system design and configuration activities.
