Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in proposal writing.
- Proposal-writing experience in engineering, construction, or professional services is preferred.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with government and private-sector RFP/RFQ processes.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Adobe InDesign familiarity is preferred.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
Responsibilities
- Write, edit, and format technical and non-technical proposal content to meet RFP/RFQ requirements.
- Maintain and update proposal templates, project descriptions, and resumes.
- Gather technical input from subject matter experts, marketing teams, and leadership and tailor content to each opportunity.
- Coordinate multiple proposals and ensure deliverables meet submission deadlines.
- Review proposals for accuracy, clarity, consistency, and alignment with branding and messaging standards.
- Research potential clients, competitors, and industry trends to support business development.
- Identify improvements to proposal development processes, including automation, organization, and efficiency.
