Requirements
- Hold a current, unrestricted medical license in your practice state.
- Be board certified in Occupational Medicine.
- Be board certified in Pain Management.
- Experience in disability evaluations is preferred.
- Experience in peer review is preferred.
- Familiarity with the California Independent Medical Review (IMR) process is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Review cases involving disability claims.
- Provide second opinions on disability claims.
- Address complex medical scenarios.
- Use evidence-based guidelines and clinical resources to make informed determinations.
