Requirements
- Hold an active Kansas LCPC license in good standing.
- Hold full independent clinical licensure.
- Have a master’s degree in counseling or another field that meets Kansas licensure requirements.
- Have experience providing psychotherapy in an outpatient or behavioral health setting.
- Be comfortable managing a caseload independently through telehealth.
- Be familiar with EHR documentation and standard clinical procedures.
Responsibilities
- Conduct scheduled individual counseling sessions by video.
- Complete intake evaluations and review relevant background information.
- Determine the focus and direction of treatment.
- Provide therapy for a range of behavioral and emotional health concerns.
- Keep progress notes and clinical records current.
- Respond appropriately when client needs or risk levels change.
- Coordinate referrals when services outside counseling are needed.
- Maintain confidentiality and professional standards in client interactions.
