Requirements
- Have 5+ years of native Android development experience and a track record of shipping commercial products end-to-end.
- Be proficient in Kotlin and familiar with Java.
- Have a solid command of the Android SDK and Jetpack components, including Lifecycle, ViewModel, Navigation, Room, and WorkManager.
- Be familiar with Jetpack Compose or the traditional View system and able to build complex UI independently.
- Be familiar with MVVM, MVI, or Clean Architecture patterns.
- Be familiar with OkHttp or Retrofit, Protobuf or JSON serialization, and Hilt or Koin dependency injection.
- Be familiar with Android security mechanisms, including KeyStore, encrypted storage, certificate pinning, and code obfuscation or hardening.
- Be familiar with Git workflows, including feature branching and pull request review.
- Be adept at using AI-assisted tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or ChatGPT.
- Communicate effectively and collaborate with multi-platform teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop features and optimize the architecture of the MPC Wallet Android client while maintaining code quality.
- Implement client-side security modules, including key management, MPC signing flows, and device binding.
- Align API/Proto interfaces with iOS, backend, and Web teams to maintain cross-platform consistency and compatibility.
- Optimize app startup speed, memory usage, network requests, and UI rendering performance.
- Write unit and integration tests, participate in code reviews, and advance engineering standards and CI/CD pipeline development.
- Track Android ecosystem technologies and evaluate suitable tools and frameworks for the team.
