Requirements
- Have a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, ideally in equity capital markets (ECM) or investment banking at a bank, advisory firm, or comparable institution.
- Understand equity capital markets and the mechanics of public and private capital raises, including IPOs and follow-on offerings.
- Demonstrate strong financial modeling and quantitative analysis skills.
- Produce polished, institutional-quality memos and presentations for senior stakeholders, with strong written and verbal communication.
- Be comfortable with ambiguity, taking initiative, and building processes where none exist.
- Show strong attention to detail and sound commercial judgment, and be able to operate under deadline pressure.
- Bring familiarity with digital assets or tokenization, or a clear appetite to build expertise in bringing equity capital markets on-chain.
Responsibilities
- Conduct due diligence on prospective issuers, companies, vendors, partners, and counterparties.
- Perform fundamental analysis and build commercial and financial models to evaluate product structures, pricing, allocation, deal economics, and profitability.
- Research competitors and the capital markets landscape, benchmarking products, platforms, and market participants.
- Prepare internal committee memos, decision documents, and management presentations with actionable recommendations.
- Track equity capital markets developments, including pipeline, follow-on and related equity offerings, and broader market conditions.
- Support the transaction and product lifecycle, owning workstreams from research through execution.
