Requirements
- Experience with infrastructure as code, such as Terraform or an equivalent, to provision Kubernetes clusters and cloud resources.
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines for containerized microservices.
- Experience deploying to and managing environments in Kubernetes/EKS.
- Experience with progressive release strategies, including canary deployments and rapid rollback.
- Experience with observability and operational automation, including metrics, alerts, and procedures.
- Knowledge of AWS services including EKS, IAM, CloudWatch, and ECR.
- Knowledge of API gateways and API governance, such as Kong.
- Knowledge of Helm and GitOps tools such as ArgoCD or Flux.
- Knowledge of automated API contract validation in pipelines.
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional and/or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate certifications are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Build and operate the delivery backbone for a modern banking platform.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning through continuous deployment of services.
- Create infrastructure as code for Kubernetes environments.
- Design robust CI/CD pipelines for containerized microservices.
- Manage Kubernetes/EKS deployments and environments.
- Implement progressive release strategies, including canary deployments.
- Enable rapid rollback to support safe releases.
- Implement observability and operational automation, including metrics, alerts, and procedures.
