Job Details

Have 5+ years of software or data engineering experience focused on delivering pipelines that power customer-facing features.
Bring strong experience in Ruby on Rails and Python.
Understand large-scale data collection, including web scraping, parsing, proxy management, and structured feed ingestion.
Have hands-on experience with batch-style data workflows using dbt, Airflow, or similar tools.
Bring deep expertise in AWS infrastructure, including RDS, ECS, S3, Lambda, and OpenSearch.
Be familiar with modern stacks for performance tracking, error monitoring, and distributed tracing.
Translate complex technical details into clear, actionable product outcomes.
Have experience working in a fast-paced growth-stage environment with shifting priorities and expected ownership.

Own end-to-end data delivery across Market Research, Market Surveys, and Daylight Revenue, aligning technical priorities with product goals.
Design and evolve ingestion pipelines processing data for 10M+ multifamily units through feeds, web scraping, warehouse transformations, and API exposure.
Define accuracy, completeness, and timeliness standards for datasets based on product-line needs.
Collaborate with Product and Application Engineering to develop datasets that support features and customer insights.
Build observability through daily monitoring, anomaly detection, and automated alerts for ingestion health.
Define goals, track progress in Linear, and communicate data milestone outcomes to stakeholders.
Evaluate data and AI tooling and integrate technologies where they add value.
Maintain documentation and mentor others on data best practices.
