Requirements
- Have 7+ years of experience in client platform engineering, IT engineering, or similar roles with hands-on technical depth and operational ownership.
- Bring deep experience with MDM platforms, particularly Jamf for macOS and Microsoft Intune for Windows.
- Have experience with policy configuration, automated enrollment, and compliance enforcement; infrastructure-as-code experience such as Terraform is preferred.
- Bring strong identity and access management experience, with Okta strongly preferred, including SSO integration, SCIM provisioning, access request workflows, and lifecycle automation.
- Have hands-on experience building zero-touch provisioning, automated reimaging, and self-service deployment workflows at scale.
- Have experience with endpoint monitoring and fleet management in remote or distributed environments.
- Have strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar.
- Have experience managing or building SaaS licensing and renewal tooling, including utilization tracking, right-sizing, renewal pipelines, and vendor coordination.
- Bring technical leadership experience mentoring engineers or support staff and leading projects end-to-end.
- Be able to take ownership of researching, implementing, documenting, and communicating technical solutions.
- Be willing to travel to project sites, with a minimum of one week per year.
- Experience supporting global teams across multiple time zones is a plus; familiarity with Google Workspace administration, CrowdStrike, Datadog, or MacAdmins open-source tools is also a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design zero-touch provisioning and automated reimaging workflows for macOS with Jamf and Windows with Intune.
- Manage Jamf and Intune policies as code, using Terraform and version-controlled processes.
- Build endpoint monitoring, alerting, and fleet health dashboards.
- Manage device lifecycle tracking, hardware refresh planning, and inventory across endpoint management and security tools.
- Automate Okta administration, including SSO integrations, SCIM provisioning, group management, access requests, and employee lifecycle workflows.
- Administer Google Workspace, including license management and security settings.
- Build SaaS license utilization and renewal workflows, and manage application onboarding and decommissioning.
- Mentor global IT support staff and maintain IT documentation and training.
- Collaborate with infrastructure engineering and security on observability, access controls, endpoint security, incident response, and field-site connectivity standards.
