Requirements
- Be currently enrolled at a regionally accredited college or university with junior or senior standing.
- Be in the process of obtaining an undergraduate degree.
- Pursue a degree in Public Relations, Communications, Social Work, Nonprofit Management, or a related field.
- Have a grade point average of at least 2.5.
- Have good written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrate the ability to successfully complete tasks.
- Have strong teamwork skills.
- Have effective multitasking and prioritization skills.
- Have strong computer skills, including proficiency with Excel.
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and executing community outreach programs and volunteer events.
- Support partnerships with local nonprofits, schools, and civic organizations.
- Track and report on social impact metrics and outcomes.
- Contribute to internal and external communications related to select initiatives.
- Research social issues, community needs, and best practices.
- Assist with grant applications, sponsorship requests, and donation tracking.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for new initiatives.
