Requirements
- Have 3+ years of experience building custom WordPress websites.
- Bring expert-level PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and MySQL skills.
- Be fluent in WordPress core, theme and plugin development, and Gutenberg.
- Be familiar with REST APIs and integration workflows.
- Be proficient with Git and version control workflows.
- Have a strong understanding of SEO and security best practices.
- Have experience with Elementor, Divi, or WPBakery, and be able to code without them.
- Be familiar with marketing tools such as Pardot and HubSpot, and email template customization.
- Have strong debugging, problem-solving, and documentation habits.
- Have English proficiency at C1-C2 level.
Responsibilities
- Build secure, scalable, high-performing WordPress websites using custom themes and plugins.
- Translate UI/UX designs into functional WordPress frontends.
- Troubleshoot bugs, resolve plugin conflicts, and debug PHP or JavaScript errors.
- Optimize performance, SEO, page speed, and security.
- Integrate third-party APIs and tools such as Pardot or HubSpot.
- Own deployment and QA for development tickets.
- Manage Git-based version control and contribute to codebase cleanliness.
- Mentor junior developers and support internal teams when needed.
