Requirements
- Have Linux server administration skills.
- Have experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
- Know a configuration management tool such as Ansible.
- Know an infrastructure-as-code tool such as Terraform.
- Have familiarity with cloud providers AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Have Bash or Python scripting skills.
- Be available 24x7 and/or comfortable with shift work supporting production SaaS solutions.
- Hands-on Linux system administration experience is listed as good to have.
- Experience with SQL databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL is listed as good to have.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub, monitoring tools such as Splunk, Prometheus, or Grafana, and centralized log analytics using Grafana or ELK is listed as good to have.
- Knowledge of Helm or Kustomize and certifications such as AWS/Azure/GCP, Terraform, CKAD/CKA, or RHCE/RHCSA is listed as good to have.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with developers, team leads, and management to understand DevOps requirements and software issues.
- Develop and implement solutions for DevOps requirements and software issues.
- Contribute to application and cloud infrastructure uptime and reliability through proactive monitoring.
- Resolve and track SRE issues.
- Research and conduct proofs of concept for software solutions to optimize DevOps and product performance, improve stability, and resolve issues.
- Document standard operating procedures and solutions.
- Follow best practices in network administration and cybersecurity.
