Requirements
- Demonstrate expert proficiency in Kotlin for Android development and modern best practices.
- Have strong hands-on experience building UI with Jetpack Compose.
- Understand Coroutines or RxJava for asynchronous programming and reactive patterns.
- Have proven experience with MVVM or similar software architecture patterns for scalable Android apps.
- Have a strong background in unit testing and UI testing.
- Have experience working in medium or large development teams on applications with considerable scale, including millions of users.
- Work autonomously with minimal supervision toward common team goals.
- Collaborate in feature-focused teams alongside designers, product owners, and QA.
- Have experience collaborating directly with clients to assess technical feasibility.
- Communicate in Portuguese and English, with at least B2 English.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain features for a sophisticated e-commerce mobile application.
- Create Android user interfaces with Jetpack Compose and implement fluid visual interactions and mobile UX patterns.
- Discuss technical architecture and design.
- Write testable code and ensure agreed test coverage levels.
- Collaborate with Android, iOS, and QA engineers, as well as designers and product owners.
- Work directly with the client to assess the technical feasibility of requirements.
- Take ownership of code from development through deployment and production maintenance.
- Diagnose production issues and devise solutions.
