Requirements
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of WordPress APIs and theme hierarchy.
- Develop custom Gutenberg blocks and migrate websites to WordPress (Gutenberg).
- Have AEM experience or certification.
- Be proficient in WordPress theme and block accessibility.
- Know HTML5, CSS3, Sass, JavaScript, jQuery, React (Gutenberg), and ES6+.
- Be proficient in MySQL and familiar with version control tools such as Git.
- Use modern team and project management tools such as Jira and Slack.
- Have front-end testing and tooling knowledge, including npm task runners such as Webpack.
- Understand Python classes and development.
- Be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to scope-of-build discussions with developers, project managers, and designers.
- Integrate third-party APIs and customize WordPress functionality.
- Support current client websites.
- Document plugins, new code, themes, and plugin modifications.
- Produce new user-facing features and build reusable code and libraries.
- Optimize applications for performance and scalability.
- Deliver functional, testable code by due dates.
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders using Agile methodologies.
- Enhance team expertise through training and exploration.
