Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least 2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or a related field required.
- College coursework or a degree preferred.
- Background in healthcare, wellness, or population health management preferred.
- Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools preferred.
- Experience working with contact center software preferred.
- Ability to work in an in-person, hybrid, or HIPAA-compliant remote setting depending on business needs.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or adjusted schedules preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish fluency preferred.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication, persuasive and negotiation, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
Responsibilities
- Contact potential members through various communication channels to explain program benefits and encourage enrollment.
- Build rapport and trust with members through active listening, empathy, and tailored communication.
- Meet departmental engagement targets by educating members, addressing concerns, and demonstrating the value of program participation.
- Present a positive, professional, and engaging approach to prospective members and internal stakeholders.
- Follow federal, state, and local regulations, including HIPAA and security and privacy guidelines, when handling protected health information and documenting member records.
- Share feedback with internal teams and help improve outreach strategies; document and communicate concerns to leadership where applicable.
