Requirements
- Have extensive experience developing stored procedures and ETL processes using T-SQL.
- Understand data warehouse design hierarchies, including star and snowflake schemas.
- Use ALM tools for work item management, version control, code analysis, and testing.
- Have broad knowledge of the software development process and its technologies.
- Be familiar with continuous integration.
- Have experience creating and scheduling elastic jobs.
- Have experience designing and modeling database structures based on business use cases.
- Provide three verifiable references.
- Azure Data Engineer Associate certification is preferred.
- Experience with student information management systems, K-12 data and reporting, Common Education Data Standards (CEDS), and Azure Synapse Pipelines is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Rationalize and map data between transactional and dimensional database models and systems.
- Develop stored procedures and ETL processes for the data warehouse in collaboration with database and system administrators.
- Collaborate with vendors and agency staff to design, develop, and manage Azure Synapse pipelines.
