Job Details

Requirements

  • Hold an active NP license in California.
  • Maintain PMHNP certification in good standing.
  • Have a master's or doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
  • Demonstrate strong clinical judgment and understanding of psychiatric medications.
  • Have solid telehealth skills, including comfort with EMRs and virtual platforms.
  • Be comfortable managing a high client load on busy days under a salaried, non-per-session pay structure.
  • Reliably manage time, caseload, and clinical notes without constant oversight.
  • Work independently while staying connected to a collaborative care team.
  • Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and team members.
  • Reside in CA, NM, NV, FL, or TX.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct telehealth evaluations, assessments, and medication management sessions for clients located in CA.
  • Collaborate with therapists and the supervising psychiatrist to provide integrated care.
  • Monitor patient outcomes and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation in the EMR.
  • Provide psychoeducation to patients and families.
  • Stay current with psychiatric care practices, telehealth trends, and CME requirements.
