Job Details

Have deep expertise in iOS or Android development and strong working knowledge of the other platform.
Understand mobile architecture, platform SDKs, lifecycle constraints, and networking fundamentals.
Have experience building reliable mobile systems that handle unreliable connectivity, local state changes, synchronization, and recovery.
Have strong mobile performance profiling and production debugging skills on real devices.
Have experience using production data, crash metrics, and release-health signals to drive reliability improvements.
Have experience making architecture recommendations and owning technical outcomes.
Be able and willing to work across native and cross-platform codebases.
Have AI fluency and experience using coding agents while applying judgment to ensure reliable outcomes.
Preferred: experience with React Native and TypeScript.
Preferred: experience with mobile persistence, synchronization, or offline-capable systems.
Preferred: experience with real-time communications or WebRTC, CallKit, or Android audio APIs.
Preferred: experience with enterprise mobile distribution, MDM, AppConfig, or Intune MAM.

Architect the app for DDIL and other constrained network environments.
Improve data and functional reliability across connection lifecycle, synchronization, recovery, and failure scenarios.
Own crash-free and release-health outcomes, using telemetry to identify regressions and drive them through diagnosis to resolution.
Profile and improve performance across startup, networking, storage, rendering, memory, and battery usage.
Own critical iOS and Android integrations and the boundaries between native and cross-platform code.
Maintain and evolve push notifications, background execution, secure storage, app lifecycle, and real-time communications capabilities.
Diagnose production issues using native traces, telemetry, device profiling, and field logs.
Make architecture recommendations that balance near-term delivery with the long-term direction of the mobile platform.
Mentor engineers on mobile architecture, reliability, performance, and platform best practices.
Uphold security and compliance standards, contribute to the open-source codebase, and use AI coding tools with sound engineering judgment.
