Experience: 7+ years building and shipping production software

Have 7+ years of experience building and shipping production software, with depth across the stack.
Bring strong React and React Native experience.
Have shipped and maintained a production mobile app.
Be fluent in TypeScript and able to build interfaces for low-end devices and poor connections.
Have backend engineering experience in Java and Spring Boot, or comparable experience and willingness to learn them quickly.
Understand RESTful API design, relational data modeling, and distributed systems failure modes.
Use automated testing and CI/CD as a default part of software development.
Be comfortable working with legacy systems and refactoring incrementally.
Be able to operate with limited direction in a small, fast-moving team.
Have the existing right to work in Germany or Portugal.

Build end-to-end features from React Native screens through Spring Boot services.
Lead mobile and web client experience development.
Launch new markets and build tooling to reduce the effort required for each launch.
Develop features for balances, ledgers, transfers, and reconciliation.
Integrate with payout partners, KYC vendors, card issuers, and internal platforms.
Improve the platform through automated testing, alerting, wallet recovery, and KYC flows.
Deploy, monitor, and support the software you build, including on-call and root cause analysis.
