Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering.
- Have 3+ years of professional software development experience in production environments, including work beyond purely front-end development.
- Have hands-on experience developing web applications across front-end and back-end components.
- Have experience developing and maintaining user-facing web applications in production.
- Have experience collaborating on software projects using modern development workflows, version control, and technical documentation.
- Have strong web development experience with React, Angular, or Vue, and be willing to work primarily with React.
- Have practical experience with Node.js, NPM, and modern JavaScript development workflows.
- Be comfortable working independently in Linux-based development environments, such as RHEL/AlmaLinux or Ubuntu/Debian.
- Have experience with version control systems such as Git and automated testing practices.
- Be comfortable using command-line tools and troubleshooting development environments.
- Have English proficiency at intermediate to advanced level (B2 or higher).
- Experience with Cypress, virtualization, Ruby, or OpenNebula or similar cloud platforms is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain features across the OpenNebula web interface, primarily focusing on front-end development and contributing to back-end components when needed.
- Own new features from development through testing, documentation, and delivery.
- Write well-tested, maintainable code with strong test coverage.
- Troubleshoot and resolve development issues across the front-end and back-end in Linux-based environments.
- Produce technical documentation and explain developments and technical decisions to the team.
- Propose improvements to the product, codebase, and development practices.
- Collaborate with other developers and contribute across the stack as priorities evolve.
