Requirements
- Have deep, hands-on experience with Node.js in production environments.
- Have strong knowledge of TypeScript and modern JavaScript.
- Have experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
- Understand backend architecture patterns, including layered architecture, modular design, and separation of concerns.
- Understand asynchronous programming, the Node.js event loop, and performance considerations.
- Have experience with SQL databases, including query optimization, transactions, and migrations.
- Know authentication and authorization mechanisms, including JWT, OAuth, and role-based access.
- Have experience with error handling, logging, and monitoring in back-end services.
- Be able to write maintainable, testable code and create unit and integration tests.
- Have production experience with PHP and Laravel, including maintaining and extending Laravel services and debugging legacy codebases.
- Have strong experience building complex applications with React and using modern patterns such as hooks, context, and controlled components.
- Have experience with state management solutions such as Redux or React Query, scalable component architecture, and front-end performance optimization.
- Have experience with forms, validation, complex UI state, accessibility, cross-browser compatibility, and API integration.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain back-end services using Node.js and TypeScript.
- Design, implement, and evolve RESTful APIs.
- Maintain and extend existing PHP and Laravel services.
- Build and maintain complex front-end applications using React.
- Collaborate with the client’s team on feature development and technical decisions.
- Ensure code quality through testing, code reviews, and engineering best practices.
- Work with existing and legacy systems, improving stability and maintainability.
- Take ownership of features from implementation through delivery.
- Contribute to performance, reliability, and scalability improvements across the full stack.
