Requirements
- Hold a master’s degree in social work or counseling.
- Hold clinical social worker (LCSW) or clinical counselor (LPCC) licensure.
- Have knowledge of current theoretical approaches to counseling services.
- Have knowledge of strategies for examining, applying, and evaluating cognitive/behavioral therapy concepts.
- Have thorough knowledge of the clinical aspects of the mental health field.
- Have supervision training to provide clinical supervision in the applicable program.
- Dual licensure in Indiana and Kentucky is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical services, including psychosocial assessments and individual, family, and group therapies.
- Meet established standards of care and standards of practice.
- Develop patient treatment plans with patient and family participation.
- Reassess treatment plans appropriately.
- Provide initial patient assessments when assigned to Outpatient Behavioral Health and independently privileged.
- Participate in performance improvement activities.
- Assist in interpreting performance improvement data.
- Provide clinical supervision if qualified.
