Job Details

Have a post-secondary degree in GIS, Cartography, Geography, Civil Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Have a minimum of 1 year of professional experience in GIS.
Have educational or professional experience with Esri ArcGIS and its extensions.
Be able to digitize, edit, and perform queries in ArcGIS Desktop/Pro and relational databases.
Have experience developing online tools in the Esri suite, including Portal and ArcGIS Online.
Have working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.
Have experience with Python, SQL, and Esri Arcade.
Understand projections, coordinate systems, and datums.
Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
Have analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Develop custom maps and reports.
Convert data and conduct GIS analysis.
Create, edit, and manage project data.
Perform data analysis and spatial queries.
Design and conduct QA/QC procedures on mapping and data products.
Resolve issues relating to projects or data.
Set up internal GIS systems, including field data collection and in-house data management systems.
Create, analyze, and maintain vector, raster, and tabular data and databases.
Provide drawings, data, and geographic information for environmental projects and reports.
