Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Data Governance or Data Management.
Have practical experience in at least three of the following: Data Governance frameworks, Data Stewardship, data standards or Master Data Management, Data Quality Management, Metadata Management and data catalogs, Business Glossaries or taxonomies, and Data Privacy.
Know Data Governance principles, methodologies, and frameworks, particularly DAMA-DMBOK.
Have experience with data management, data catalog, or data quality tools such as Collibra, Informatica, Alation, or Microsoft Purview.
Have practical knowledge of SQL.
Have experience independently leading project workstreams, organizing workshops, and working with senior management to agree data definitions, standards, and governance principles.
Be able to work in a changing project environment and develop expertise in additional Data Governance areas.
Have strong communication and presentation skills and be able to lead workshops.
Be fluent in English.
CDMP certification or equivalent is an advantage.
Experience with clients in Financial Services, Automotive, Energy & Utilities, Technology, FMCG, or Pharma is an advantage.

Lead Data Governance workstreams from needs analysis and organizational maturity assessment through solution design and implementation.
Conduct Data Governance maturity assessments and develop prioritized action plans and implementation roadmaps.
Design and implement governance frameworks, operating models, policies, and data management standards aligned with DAMA-DMBOK.
Organize and lead governance decision meetings and standards review forums.
Define and develop business data standards, definitions, glossaries, taxonomies, and, where needed, ontologies and Knowledge Graph standards.
Design Data Quality Management processes, define critical data elements and quality rules, monitor quality, and coordinate remediation with Data Owners.
Work with Data Engineering and platform teams to implement standards, data classification, lineage, and quality controls in data catalogs and platforms.
Address Data Sovereignty and Data Residency requirements, including data classification, location, access, retention, and compliance documentation.
Define Data Governance KPIs and prepare management reports and audit documentation.
Develop the capabilities of consultants and client-side Data Stewards, and contribute to consulting offerings, tools, and methods.
