Requirements
- Have at least 4+ years of commercial experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or Systems Analyst.
- Bring experience with legacy modernization, migration, or integration projects, ideally.
- Have a proven track record of As-Is/To-Be analysis and documenting target states.
- Be able to read code, ideally Java/Spring, and write SQL to understand system logic, profile data, and verify assumptions.
- Have experience with SQL databases including Oracle or PostgreSQL.
- Have strong process-modeling skills, including BPMN, swimlanes, data-flow diagrams, and integration diagrams.
- Have experience documenting business rules and data mappings.
- Have experience defining portals or internal tools, including user roles, journeys, wireframes, and functional specifications.
- Understand cloud architectures, integrations, REST APIs, and data platforms such as Databricks; Azure is preferred.
- Have hands-on backlog management experience, including writing user stories and testable acceptance criteria using Jira, Confluence, or equivalent.
- Have experience using AI assistants to support analysis, documentation, and code comprehension.
- Have English communication and facilitation skills at C1 level.
Responsibilities
- Analyze Java/Spring code, Oracle schemas, PL/SQL, configuration, and data samples to reconstruct business rules and system behavior.
- Map operational processes through interviews, shadowing, and artifact review, and identify pain points, workarounds, and risks.
- Produce As-Is documentation, including process maps, integration and data-flow diagrams, business-rule catalogues, and gap analyses.
- Design To-Be processes for the modernized platform, including exception handling, operational monitoring, and reporting use cases.
- Define portal roles, user journeys, screen-level functional specifications, wireframes, and required data and APIs.
- Specify business rules, data mappings, and integration behavior with architects and engineers.
- Define migration scope, parallel-run and cutover scenarios, fallback procedures, and business acceptance criteria.
- Own and prioritize epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and delivery scope trade-offs.
- Lead workshops and serve as the functional contact for client business owners, operations teams, and IT.
- Support UAT, accept delivered functionality, and prepare process documentation and user training materials for go-live.
