Requirements
- Strong SQL skills.
- Knowledge of data validation techniques, including row counts, checksums, and before/after comparisons.
- Good understanding of ETL processes and data pipelines.
- Experience with at least one RDBMS: PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL.
- Knowledge of regression testing for DB-dependent applications.
- Experience with test management tools such as TestRail, Zephyr, or Azure Test Plans.
- Experience with bug tracking in Azure DevOps.
- Familiarity with Git.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and how database changes are deployed, such as through Azure DevOps.
- Strong API testing skills.
- Upper-Intermediate level of English.
Responsibilities
- Implement and execute tests at all planned levels.
- Log and evaluate test results and document deviations from expected results.
- Use test administration, monitoring, and management tools.
- Participate in test environment setup.
- Prepare and acquire test data.
- Create, validate, and update test documentation, including test cases and test plans.
- Review, analyse, and assess project requirements and specifications, converting them into quality control process artefacts.
- Review test artefacts developed by others.
- Report test progress to stakeholders.
