Responsibilities
- Converse with the model on synthetic pathways and theoretical chemistry questions.
- Challenge advanced language models on multi-step synthesis planning, protecting group strategies, asymmetric catalysis, reagent selection, total synthesis of natural products, reaction optimization, and functional group transformations.
- Verify factual accuracy and logical soundness.
- Capture reproducible error traces.
- Document model failure modes.
- Suggest improvements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics.
