Requirements
- Be a mathematics specialist with expertise in areas such as algebra, calculus, number theory, linear algebra, differential equations, statistics, geometry, mathematical logic, or discrete mathematics.
- Be fluent in German.
- Communicate clearly and metacognitively, including showing your work.
- A master’s or PhD in mathematics or a closely related quantitative field is ideal.
- Peer-reviewed publications, teaching experience, research in pure or applied mathematics, or hands-on experience with mathematical modeling are signals of fit.
- As a contractor, supply a secure computer and high-speed internet.
Responsibilities
- Converse with the model about classroom problems and theoretical mathematics questions.
- Challenge advanced language models on topics including analysis, optimization, proofs, probability, cryptography, and applied mathematics.
- Verify factual accuracy and logical soundness.
- Capture reproducible error traces and document model failure modes.
- Suggest improvements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics.
