Requirements
- Demonstrate expertise in Finnish grammar, syntax, morphology, spelling, phonology, and pragmatics.
- Understand Finnish verb conjugation, case inflection, vowel harmony, sentence structure, formal and informal language, regional variations, and the Finnish writing system.
- A master’s or PhD in Finnish language, linguistics, or a closely related field is ideal.
- Peer-reviewed publications, teaching experience, or hands-on linguistic analysis projects are indicators of fit.
- Communicate clearly and metacognitively, including showing your work.
- As a contractor, supply a secure computer and high-speed internet.
Responsibilities
- Challenge advanced language models on Finnish language topics, including grammar, syntax, morphology, spelling, phonology, and pragmatics.
- Test model performance on verb conjugation, case inflection, vowel harmony, sentence structure, formal and informal language, regional variations, and the Finnish writing system.
- Converse with the model on language scenarios.
- Verify factual accuracy and logical soundness.
- Capture reproducible error traces and document model failure modes.
- Suggest improvements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics.
