Requirements
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science or have equivalent experience.
- Have 5+ years of experience creating test strategies, plans, and test execution for web and mobile applications.
- Have QA experience with eCommerce, Point of Sale, and SaaS applications.
- Have experience testing mobile websites and native applications on iOS, Android, and Windows.
- Have experience testing backend applications and APIs developed in Java or C#, with SQL, NoSQL, ActiveMQ, and caching technologies such as Hazelcast.
- Have experience testing web UI applications across multiple browsers, including IE, Firefox, Safari, and Chrome, and operating systems including Linux, Windows, and iOS.
- Understand network topologies and technologies.
- Have experience with SQL and data management practices.
- Nice to have scripting experience with Python or Shell scripting.
- Nice to have knowledge of web application performance and load testing, and experience with Splunk analytics.
- Nice to have familiarity with payment gateways, payment terminals, and accessibility testing.
- Nice to have exposure to Kubernetes, container-based deployments, high-availability architectures, and JIRA.
Responsibilities
- Participate in Agile ceremonies to estimate, plan, and document test strategies, scenarios, and QA standards.
- Perform manual functional, exploratory, cross-system integration, and accessibility testing across web, mobile, analytics, and hardware firmware.
- Execute and analyze automated test suites.
- Manage test environments and work with developers and Release Management to troubleshoot defects, validate fixes, and provide Production sign-offs.
- Analyze Major Incidents and Emergency Changes to expand test automation.
- Communicate QA metrics and prepare automated suites for handover to Reliability and NOC teams.
