Requirements
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field; be a recent graduate or graduating soon.
- Have internship, co-op, research, or meaningful personal or project experience building software applications.
- Have strong fundamentals in JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
- Be familiar with frontend development using React or similar frameworks.
- Be familiar with backend development using Node.js; NestJS is a plus.
- Understand relational databases such as PostgreSQL and core data modeling principles.
- Be familiar with RESTful APIs and how distributed applications communicate.
- Have exposure to Git and modern software development workflows.
- Preferred: internship or professional software engineering experience.
- Preferred: exposure to AWS, GCP, or Azure; CI/CD, deployment pipelines, or DevOps fundamentals.
- Preferred: exposure to microservices, serverless, or event-driven architectures.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design and development of end-to-end full-stack systems for internal workflows and platform capabilities.
- Build maintainable backend services and APIs.
- Develop frontend interfaces for internal teams and end users.
- Participate in data modeling, schema design, and query performance optimization.
- Collaborate with product, operations, and design teams to turn ideas into production-ready features.
- Improve engineering quality through code reviews, testing, documentation, and continuous improvement.
- Help troubleshoot production issues and build resilient, observable systems.
- Make thoughtful tradeoffs between speed, scalability, and maintainability.
