Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Five or more years of applied Python development experience in enterprise-grade environments.
- Experience building and maintaining large-scale production applications with significant uptime and reliability requirements.
- Hands-on experience with relational databases such as Oracle, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or Sybase, including query tuning and schema design.
- Understanding of the full software development lifecycle, including requirements, design, build, test, release, and ongoing support.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, automated testing, and operational support.
- Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and computational efficiency.
- Experience debugging and maintaining complex enterprise applications in production.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies, CI/CD practices, application resiliency patterns, and secure coding standards.
- Ability to manage concurrent projects and collaborate with technical and business teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and continuously enhance enterprise-grade applications, data-intensive services, and automation platforms.
- Develop robust, secure, and high-performance Python systems for distributed production environments.
- Partner with product, data, and infrastructure teams to translate business problems into technical solutions.
- Debug complex production issues and identify root causes.
- Provide ongoing operational support for applications.
- Apply software architecture and data engineering fundamentals to engineering work.
