Requirements
- Bring 10+ years of enterprise IT experience, including at least 5 years in a Lead Architect or Senior ServiceNow Architect role.
- Have experience designing and governing ServiceNow platforms in large-scale, multi-vendor enterprise environments.
- Have experience leading complex ServiceNow transformation programmes and enterprise architecture initiatives.
- Bring hands-on expertise in ITSM, ITOM, Discovery, Event Management, Service Mapping, CMDB, IT Asset Management, and Strategic Portfolio Management.
- Have expertise in Integration Hub, Flow Designer, Performance Analytics, and ServiceNow AI capabilities.
- Understand ServiceNow data models, platform security, performance, maintainability, and upgrade considerations.
- Have experience architecting integrations between ServiceNow and external vendor ITSM platforms.
- Have experience designing enterprise API frameworks and integration architectures; know REST, SOAP, webhooks, middleware, event-driven architecture, Integration Hub, and MID Servers.
- Have experience integrating monitoring, observability, cloud, identity, and enterprise business systems with ServiceNow.
- Bring hands-on capability in JavaScript, HTML, PowerShell, web services, integration troubleshooting, and technical development oversight.
- Have experience chairing architecture review boards or architectural governance forums and defining architectural standards, roadmaps, policies, and design principles.
- Have experience leading geographically distributed teams, suppliers, and implementation partners, and influencing senior and executive-level decisions.
- Have communication, problem-solving, and technical documentation skills.
- Preferred certifications include CTA or CMA, CSA, CAD, implementation specialist certifications in ITSM, ITOM, Discovery, or Service Mapping, and relevant ServiceNow micro-certifications.
Responsibilities
- Design and govern integrations between ServiceNow and external vendor and supplier ITSM platforms.
- Define the multi-vendor integration strategy for Incident, Change, Request, Problem, Asset, and Configuration Management.
- Architect integrations with monitoring platforms and cloud platforms, including Azure.
- Establish standards for APIs, Integration Hub, MID Server architecture, data synchronisation, security, scalability, resilience, and performance.
- Define integration governance, lifecycle management, monitoring, and operational support models.
- Lead platform architecture across ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, Strategic Portfolio Management, IT Asset Management, and AI capabilities.
- Chair the ServiceNow Architectural Governance Forum and act as the final design authority.
- Produce HLDs, solution and integration architecture documents, architecture decision records, and platform standards.
- Define implementation, coding, testing, release, and upgrade governance; oversee Automated Test Framework adoption and technical debt remediation.
- Lead the ServiceNow AI and automation strategy and advise senior leadership, stakeholders, suppliers, and technology teams.
