Requirements
- Have extensive hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance across AP, AR, and Intercompany.
- Have a proven track record implementing and supporting OpenText Vendor Invoice Management (VIM).
- Understand EDI standards and cross-system data exchange.
- Understand MM-FI and SD-FI integration points.
- Bring strong expertise in root-cause analysis, complex account reconciliations, and error resolution in integrated landscapes.
- Have experience working in global, multi-currency, and multi-entity organizational models.
- Demonstrate analytical thinking and structured problem-solving skills.
- Be able to prioritize tasks under tight operational deadlines.
- Preferred: experience in multi-system S/4HANA enterprise environments.
- Preferred: involvement in large-scale ERP implementations or global finance transformation programs.
- Preferred: exposure to automated invoicing technologies, EDI frameworks, or BlackLine.
Responsibilities
- Act as the lead functional authority for SAP S/4HANA Finance, focusing on AP and Intercompany.
- Drive system configuration and functional enhancements in line with S/4HANA Universal Journal standards.
- Oversee end-to-end AP workflows, including invoice processing, validation, posting, and payment execution.
- Optimize OpenText VIM workflows, approval chains, and exception handling.
- Oversee vendor master data, payment runs, account reconciliations, and compliance with tax and regulatory frameworks.
- Maintain and monitor intercompany billing, cross-company postings, and intercompany settlements.
- Manage AR postings triggered through EDI, SD billing modules, or third-party platforms.
- Troubleshoot data flow discrepancies between S/4HANA, legacy platforms, and external systems.
- Partner with technical engineering teams on interface mapping, functional design, testing, and automation initiatives.
- Represent Finance in rollouts and upgrades; draft functional specifications and lead UAT, defect management, and hypercare.
