Bring 5+ years of engineering experience, with 2+ years in management or tech lead roles.
Have proven experience managing teams of 5–15 engineers.
Have a solid background in software engineering and systems design.
Bring experience in coaching, mentorship, and conflict resolution.
Be able to build trust and psychological safety.
Have a solid grasp of Agile, Kanban, or Lean practices.
Be familiar with prioritization frameworks such as OKRs, RICE, or ICE.
Have experience collaborating with stakeholders and managing expectations.
Be able to evaluate technical proposals and make informed trade-offs.
Be familiar with infrastructure, scalability, observability, and reliability.
Understand CI/CD, testing practices, and incident response.
Connect engineering decisions to business impact and communicate trade-offs and risks to executives.
Background in fintech, SaaS, or other high-scale environments is a plus.
Fluency in English and Spanish or Portuguese is a strong plus.

Hire, onboard, and grow engineers across different levels.
Run 1:1s, performance reviews, and career development conversations.
Coach engineers in technical and soft skills, and mentor senior engineers.
Foster a healthy, inclusive, and motivating team culture.
Ensure projects are delivered on time and with quality.
Oversee sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives from a manager’s perspective.
Identify and remove blockers, improve workflows, and refine processes.
Partner with PMs and Designers to set priorities and align on goals.
Guide architectural and technical decisions and ensure best practices in testing, monitoring, scalability, and security.
Translate product and business goals into engineering strategy, participate in budgeting and headcount planning, and represent engineering in leadership discussions.
