Requirements
- Hold an active New York State LMSW license.
- Be a New York State resident.
- Have a private, HIPAA-compliant workspace.
- Have stable internet and a working webcam and audio setup.
- Maintain consistent weekly availability to schedule 15 to 16 client appointments.
- Be comfortable using telehealth platforms and electronic health records.
- Have strong organization and time-management skills.
- Evening availability at 4:00 PM or later is strongly preferred.
- Experience with clients of all ages, including minors, is strongly preferred.
- Couples counseling experience or a strong interest in couples work is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide ethical, evidence-based psychotherapy to individuals and, depending on experience, children, adolescents, and couples.
- Maintain timely, accurate progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries.
- Bring all cases to weekly supervision, with particular attention to clients with safety concerns, clients who disengage, and clients who frequently cancel or no-show.
- Communicate professionally with clients, staff, and the supervisor.
