Requirements
- Have a bachelor's degree and three years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and relevant experience.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in TypeScript across frontend and backend development.
- Have working fluency with Vue.js 3 and the Composition API.
- Have experience with Node.js, Express, and PostgreSQL.
- Have experience designing, building, and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Be comfortable working across the full stack on features end to end.
- Be comfortable using modern AI-assisted development tools in daily work.
- Have experience with Git workflows, pull request reviews, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Be able to work independently in a remote, asynchronous environment.
- Have strong written communication skills.
- Occasionally work evenings and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain Vue.js 3 frontends for dashboards, admin interfaces, and student-facing assessment applications using the Composition API.
- Modernize dashboards to deliver an accessible user experience that meets current web standards.
- Help build and evolve ROAR at Home, the direct-to-family assessment product.
- Implement score reporting interfaces and data visualizations for educators and researchers.
- Design and build RESTful APIs using TypeScript, Node.js, and Express.
- Design PostgreSQL schemas, optimize queries, and manage data migrations.
- Build and maintain services for assessment delivery, scoring pipelines, user management, and data export.
- Support data pipelines for research partners and school district reporting needs.
- Support partner-platform SDK integrations and integrate headless CMS tooling for assessment content and item corpus management.
- Write and maintain end-to-end tests in Cypress; participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and architectural discussions.
