Requirements
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure security and network security.
- Experience designing secure architectures in cloud environments using Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Strong knowledge of AI Gateway.
- Knowledge of security in Kubernetes environments and container platforms.
- Understand infrastructure Identity & Access Management, workload identity, service-to-service authentication, and secrets management.
- Experience applying Zero Trust, least privilege, defense in depth, and secure-by-design principles.
- Ability to conduct technical security reviews and threat modeling for infrastructure and platforms.
- Ability to work at enterprise architecture level while understanding technical details such as firewall, gateway, and network-flow configuration.
- Experience leading technical architecture decisions and collaborating across engineering teams.
- Understand infrastructure security needs of AI/ML systems, including model hosting, inference communication, AI APIs, workload isolation, model and data access, enterprise integrations, and risks from external AI models.
- English proficiency at B2 or C1 level for communication in an international environment.
- Willingness to travel to the client's office in Germany for 3–4 days once every six months.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop secure infrastructure architecture supporting AI/ML solutions and AI systems.
- Define security standards and patterns for on-premise, cloud, and hybrid infrastructure.
- Design secure communication between applications, AI services, models, APIs, and data platforms.
- Define Zero Trust and least-privilege principles for infrastructure and networks.
- Analyze architectures for attack vectors and design technical security controls.
- Conduct technical security reviews of infrastructure and platform solutions.
- Collaborate with Cloud, DevOps, Platform Engineering, Network, Security Engineering, Data, and AI/ML teams.
- Create security guardrails and standards automated through Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD.
- Support selection and integration of network security, cloud security, and AI security technologies.
- Provide technical leadership in security architecture and mentor architects and engineers.
