Requirements
- Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in IT security, including hands-on implementation and configuration of cybersecurity solutions.
- Have practical knowledge of TCP/IP, routing and network segmentation.
- Have experience with Windows Server and Linux/Unix environments.
- Have knowledge of containerization and practical knowledge of system hardening.
- Have very good knowledge of authentication and access control mechanisms, including MFA, Active Directory, LDAP and OAuth2.
- Have experience with vulnerability scanning tools such as Nessus or Qualys.
- Know network traffic analysis tools such as Wireshark.
- Be able to automate tasks using PowerShell, Python or Bash.
- Know information security standards and regulations, including ISO/IEC 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, DORA and NIS2 / UKSC.
- Have strong analytical skills and be able to work under time pressure during security incidents.
- Be able to transfer technical knowledge to users and administrators.
- Industry certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or CEH are an advantage.
- Technical certifications from cybersecurity solution vendors and experience delivering cybersecurity implementation projects are an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure and implement security solutions, including Firewalls, SIEM, EDR, DLP and PAM.
- Configure and administer network and system solutions.
- Perform security hardening of operating systems and infrastructure.
- Configure authentication and access control mechanisms.
- Conduct acceptance and post-implementation testing (UAT) and verify the effectiveness of implemented security measures.
- Analyze vulnerabilities and network traffic.
- Prepare technical and post-implementation documentation.
- Support security incident handling and perform root cause analysis.
- Automate implementation tasks using scripts.
- Advise IT and business teams on secure solution architecture and participate in cybersecurity procurement processes.
