Requirements
- Have proven experience in software quality assurance and practical experience across the software testing lifecycle.
- Have hands-on experience with test automation; this is essential.
- Have experience working in agile development squads and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Know software testing strategies and techniques, including functional, exploratory, integration, and regression testing.
- Have experience with test automation and API testing.
- Be familiar with Jira and Git.
- Understand CI/CD pipelines and their role in software quality.
- Be able to investigate defects, analyze problems, and communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrate autonomy, critical thinking, initiative, organization, and attention to detail.
- Knowledge or practical experience using AI tools to improve productivity and quality practices is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product Owners, developers, UX/UI professionals, and stakeholders in the development squad.
- Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to planning, delivery tracking, and quality discussions.
- Analyze requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to identify gaps, risks, and failure scenarios.
- Design and execute functional, exploratory, integration, regression, and business-rule tests.
- Document, prioritize, and track bugs; work with developers to investigate causes and validate fixes.
- Maintain test evidence and quality documentation, and contribute to acceptance criteria and the Definition of Done.
- Support user acceptance and validation activities with Product Owners and client stakeholders.
- Identify automation opportunities, implement automated tests when appropriate, and contribute to API testing.
- Monitor quality indicators and improve testing processes and practices, using AI tools when applicable.
