Requirements
- Have experience across the end-to-end sales pipeline, including top-of-funnel, upselling, channel sales, customer success, and forecasting.
- Understand and communicate with developers and quantitative finance professionals.
- Have experience with quant trading and market microstructure.
- Demonstrate attention to detail and strong record-keeping.
- Be able to automate processes in HubSpot.
- Communicate professionally in a manner suited to an institutional financial product.
- Manage the sales cycle with continual customer buy-in, identify pain points and friction, and recognize when to continue or step back.
- Be ready to work in a startup environment with limited resources and personnel.
- Bonus: actively use GitHub.
- Bonus: know enough C++, Python, and/or Rust to help answer client inquiries.
Responsibilities
- Own the technical sales process, answering customer inquiries, providing data samples, and resolving data-related issues.
- Create common market-data examples and use cases in Python, C++, and/or Rust.
- Gather customer feedback, testimonials, and case studies.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and documented forecasting and record-keeping procedures.
- Keep the CRM up to date and organized.
- Build executive relationships across the industry and with partners and customers.
- Monitor industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activity to identify business opportunities and adapt sales strategies.
- Collaborate across teams to align sales efforts with company objectives and customer experience.
