Experience
At least 2 years of post qualification recent experience

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of recent post-qualification experience delivering structured ADHD assessments.
  • Experience conducting diagnostic observations, considering third-party evidence, and completing full diagnostic formulations.
  • Ability to undertake ADHD assessments for adults and children.
  • Professional registration as a nurse or pharmacist with the NMC or GPhC.
  • V300 Non Medical prescribing qualification.
  • Experience working within a treatment service; experience setting up a treatment service is desirable.
  • Specialist knowledge of ADHD assessment and treatment options, including specific medication.
  • Extensive knowledge of lifespan mental health and neurodevelopmental conditions.
  • Ability to undertake medication appointments for children and adults and prescribe in accordance with NICE guidelines.
  • Commitment to ethical practice and high standards of adult and child safeguarding.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver structured ADHD assessments, including diagnostic observations and consideration of third-party evidence.
  • Complete full diagnostic formulations for adults and children.
  • Support clients through post-diagnostic treatment options.
  • Assess appropriate treatment options.
  • Undertake medication appointments for children and adults.
  • Titrate, monitor, and review medication.
  • Prescribe in accordance with NICE guidelines, ensuring safe and effective practice.
