Requirements
- Have at least 3 years of experience as a professional educator.
- Hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- Hold an active high school Visual Arts teaching certification.
- Be GA certified or willing to seek reciprocity.
- Have a laptop or desktop computer, webcam, headset, and reliable internet access.
- Participate in a virtual skills teaching demonstration.
- Submit a background check as part of the application process.
- Prior online or virtual teaching experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Teach the school's curriculum on the district's virtual platform.
- Develop lesson plans aligned with the class curriculum.
- Foster creativity and engagement in the virtual learning environment.
- Engage and nurture student learning through relationship-focused strategies.
- Track student grades and performance.
- Attend district professional development sessions and faculty meetings.
- Partner with the in-class facilitator physically present with students.
- Access the educator portal to select available jobs matching your certification.
