Requirements
- Have strong professional experience in FP&A or Strategic Finance within banks, fintechs, credit card issuers, or payment companies managing their own credit portfolios.
- Bring deep practical and conceptual knowledge of credit card financial dynamics, including NII, funding costs, interchange, fees, revolving credit, credit risk, PDD or provisions, and cohort or vintage analysis.
- Have advanced financial modeling skills using Excel or Google Sheets.
- Be fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Be confident presenting to executives and communicating with external stakeholders.
- Bring strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including the ability to communicate with technical authority to senior audiences.
- Experience applying AI and automation to improve financial routines and analytical efficiency is desirable.
- Knowledge of analytical languages or databases such as Python and SQL is a plus.
- Previous experience managing and developing teams is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Act as a strategic Financial Business Partner for Cards, Banking, and Insurance, evaluating the economic feasibility of new products and features.
- Lead monthly, annual, and long-term financial planning cycles, including continuous reforecasting.
- Manage performance through Real vs. Budget vs. Forecast analyses, business-unit closing processes, and executive reporting.
- Build, parameterize, and improve financial projection models, focusing on credit card unit economics.
- Analyze product P&L, interchange revenue, net interest income, funding costs, delinquency, credit provisions, and cohort or vintage performance.
- Partner with Credit and Collections teams to reconcile risk and revenue perspectives and establish a consistent product P&L view.
- Drive automation, data use, and practical AI applications to improve team efficiency and analytical capacity.
- Lead, coach, and develop the team and strengthen its financial analysis and business partnership capabilities.
